It was my daughter's first birthday...

I still remember the day that I started looking for help.

The thing about overwhelm, is that you don't really know that you are overwhelmed until you are completely buried.  Sure, there were signs that others noticed, but I was in the middle of it.  I was a new mom and was working hard to branch out in another area of my business, add in a home remodel and a traveling husband and anyone could see from the outside that I was struggling.

That's when it hit me.  I had called my mom to help me give my daughter a bath, because I just couldn't.  I tried, but I couldn't do it alone.  I was too overwhelmed.

This is how overwhelm works.  We don't recognize it until a simple task becomes too much.

But I reached out.

I was diagnosed with Low Functioning Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.  I found out that the biggest indicator for Low Functioning and High Functioning was the state of overwhelm.  Mine was incredibly high, and I didn't even see it.

I found help through a series of tools. These are the 6 tools that changed my life.

You're here because you know something is "off."   Not being able to sleep, worries about what the next few weeks will bring or a feeling of "just not being able to be present" may not be what you are dealing with.  Many of our lives were just turned upside down in some way shape or form presenting an opportunity for overwhelm to take over.   Learn the tools that have kept me from being overwhelmed in today's Global Pandemic.  Tools that will last a lifetime, and affect the next generation.
